Laptur is a local-first productivity and work timer. The core experience does not require a Laptur account, and standard work records are stored in the browser where you use the site.

Task names, work sessions, check-in and check-out times, break data, notes, workday totals, the active timer, and preferences may be stored in local browser storage so Laptur can work on this device. These browser-stored records do not automatically follow you to another browser or device.
Laptur does not require a name, profile, or Laptur password for the core timer experience.
Clearing browser or site data, using private or incognito mode, changing browsers or devices, storage limits, or browser storage problems may delete records or make them unavailable. Use the Export page to save important workdays outside the browser.
Feedback and Contact open your device's email application. A message is sent only if you choose to send it, after which it is handled by your email provider and the receiving mailbox. Do not include passwords, payment details, or sensitive client information.
Laptur uses Google Analytics to understand website usage and improve performance and usability. Analytics information may include pages visited, page URL, a generic page title, browser and device information, approximate location, referral information, and similar usage data. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies according to Google's policies and settings.
Laptur does not intentionally send user-entered task names, notes, work details, or feedback text to Google Analytics.
Laptur may use Google AdSense in the future to display advertising. If ads are introduced, Google and third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, prevent abuse, and improve ad relevance. Google may use advertising cookies to personalize ads where allowed.
You can manage personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings.
Before serving applicable ads to users in regions where consent is required, including the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Laptur will use the consent controls required by Google, including a Google-certified consent management platform where applicable.
